Sexual Predators like Jerry Micklos, are often victims themsleves! During my 6+ year domestic partnership with Jerry, I learned and observed the true man, one who does not think that what he does is wrong.
According to Jerry's stories, his predator was apparently the wealthy owner of La Mesa RV, Jim Kimbrell, as over the years Jerry & I were together, Jerry described the young lifestyle he lived, with his boss Jim, catering to Kimbrell's every need, starting at the young age of 16, when Jerry began working at La Mesa RV as a lot boy to support his family, after his father had passed away.
I believe this upbringing by Kimbrell was a direct result of who Jerry became and how he perceived life, and how he personally deals with the sex his mind craves. Jerry had built a somewhat sucessful business, and the dealership helped support his sexual cravings.
I was not Jerry's first victim, and shortly after I grew too old for Jerry's desires, he began working a young 18 year old, who he met at the gay church, MCC, in San Diego.
My worries about Jerry began in Hawaii in the late 90's, when Jerry convinced me to allow, and participate in, the hiring of a male prostitute, after Jerry consulted with a male stripper at a local gay bar for leads, a stripper who Jerry had earlier that night paid $20.00, for allowing Jerry (& I) to fondle the dancer's erection, right there in the bar in Honolulu. That should have been my warning, but I was young and gullible, just wanting to make Jerry happy, because due to AIDS, I could not fill all the sexual needs Jerry had, as he said the prostitutes could fill that gap and we could live the relationship part, the love part.
The truth was, Jerry used my health as an excuse to convince me to allow him to hire men for mere sex. The first prostitute was like anyone might expect, high on meth, and the whole ordeal was so unpleasant. Sadly, I fell for Jerry's continued persuasion and charisma on several other ocassions, before I think he finally understood I did not enjoy this.
Jerry left La Mesa RV in the late 80's, to start his own dealership. Before Jerry and I met, Jerry hired a man named Scott. Scott's "side" job at the RV Dealership (10,000 RV Sales, Inc.) was to recruit young men for sex, and at one time, Jerry owned a Limo, and the driver also assisted. It was almost like in the movie about Liberace, Behind the Candelabra.
I sadly learned, during our 6 year relationship/partnership, that Scott was still doing his side work for Jerry. That was, for me, when the love ended, when I found out that a 10,000 RV employee name John S., was brought into the dealership by Scott, and under the payrol of the RV Dealership, was paid to sexually satisfy Jerry, when I was away.
